G. Dwain
Adams
Dwain
carves birds from Basswood using knives and chisels, then he burns feathers
into the carvings with
a burning tool. He paints most of his
birds with acrylic
paints and then mounts them on locally found
driftwood. His work has gained wide acclaim and is
currently sought by
collectors from a wide area. Dwain has been a member of TACA and CAST
for several years. He participates in the TACA Craft Fairs, the CAST Studio
Tour as well as other exhibitions, and galleries. His work can be found
in The Artisan Depot in Cowan, Tennessee and the Belvidere Market in Belvidere,
Tennessee.
